Indy was actually Netflix's third or fourth choice. Schools like Butler, Garden City, and Hutchinson all turned down the show.
Would have been interesting to see a season or two from one of the more established programs in the conference. They didn't want to deal with the drama that the show brought though.
I think seasons 1-4 were great to watch, even when Indy imploded in season 4. The Laney season was the nail in the coffin of the show. I think it was by far the least interesting and entertaining. It almost seemed more like a documentary about the gentrification and problems of Oakland than about the football.

It could be countries that existed before Liberia, colonial history in Liberia, daily life in Liberia in specific time periods, culture, etc.
It would have been during the 2018 football season I guess. I am going through that season again. My favorite season of Last Chance U as that team was so unlikeable that it was fun to see them lose.
Did the show hype the talent the team had up a little more than what they realistically were. Or were they indeed that talented and it was just a total team collapse?
I know watching the season a big problem was how JB handled the quarterback situation. He couldn't decide on a QB and would often play multiple QB's in games.
Also I am sure they were running into a problem where players were only there because they wanted to be on TV as Last Chance U would have been well known by that point.

What are we getting? Where?
To show how much different recruiting is these days with how D1 schools are now plugging their holes through the transfer portal instead of Juco.
I'm sure many of the same types of players are still in Juco but the chances of moving up are even slimmer now than they were when Last Chance U was running.

It’s the one where she sautés the onion and garlic (or something?) and then adds pasta and already boiling water and then adds greens?
I’ve made it before and it’s amazing but I made it almost directly after watching the episode. I can’t remember the details of how to make it and I can’t access the show but want to make that dish in roughly 2-3 hours 😬
Please help!

I kinda feel like I know everything now, but I liked not knowing things. What loose threads and unanswered questions keep you engaged?
Seriously, trying to keep up with Robert Durst’s mess feels like decoding ancient hieroglyphics while blindfolded. Meanwhile, normal folks binge Netflix; we binge paranoia and plot twists no one outside ever understands. Who’s with me? Let’s raise a glass to sleepless nights and even sleepier detectives! Upvote if you’ve lost hours down this rabbit hole!

Man these two seasons show a ton of bias from Jarecki against Durst. First with him withholding the letter (that resembled the writing) and then I read this thing with him altering the order of the audio clipping picked up from a hot mic to sensationalize the end of season 1. Season 2 so far seems it the same way…
Does any one else feel this way?

Sorry if this shouldn't be in this sub, but I'm planning on traveling (mainly backpacking) through Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and finally through South Africa to make a documentary on Rock Climbing in Africa. I have all of my gear ready to go, but I am unsure about traveling because my crew is very small. It would be great if we had a guide(s) to come with us on the way obviously to help with navigating but also for the safety aspect. I was wondering if anyone has done anything similar and has any advice.
Thanks all!
