File attachement not working with upload folder under symlink.The issue is known, but no fix is planned. See GitHub issue #1655, #1282.

Contact Form 7 has been a mainstay on millions of WordPress sites for good reason. It’s a remarkably capable and reliable contact form plugin—virtually bulletproof in performance. What truly deserves recognition is the developer’s commitment to keeping it free and open. Over the years, it has evolved with powerful features and deep integrations with other plugins, all while staying true to the open-source ethos of WordPress. In a world where many would have monetized a user base of this scale—through premium add-ons, ads, or feature restrictions—the creator of Contact Form 7 has consistently chosen integrity over profit. Massive respect to Takayuki Miyoshi, the brilliant Japanese developer behind this plugin. The craftsmanship, transparency, and dedication he continues to show is rare in today’s plugin ecosystem. I, for one, bow in appreciation.

easy simple but open to spam…

hi, i use contact form 7 6.0.6 free, preinstalled with my template on WP6 php 8.3. Ok it is very basic and easy to use it and make a quick form. But, since i installed the WP SMTP plugin, i can track and discover the SPAM and i see that a lot of spams was send from the forms build with CT7 … We also installed and try another form generator (the one with bear logo, to not say the brand), and no spam go out from there. So only CT7 is a opendoor to spam… Also there is important missing feature : we cannot disabled a form in the interface, we need to erase it from the page where it is integrated (or comment it). It would be glade to have a enable/disable checkbox in the interface where all the forms are listed.. Best regards
