The "New to the Joomla Community" Sessions will always have the some format:

1. Short welcome (about 2 mins)
2. Presentation how the Joomla community works (about 15 mins)
3. Introduction round for everbody (about 5-10 mins for all)
4. Questions, discussions, exhange, networking (about 30 mins)

Monthly Virtual JUG meeting. We usually have a member spotlight and then a feature presentation. This virtual JUG is for those who own a website design business or build websites on the Joomla platform. We join together to share ideas and help each other out. Owning a business has many challenges - joining a community of like-minded people to explore solutions to these challenges is a great way to keep you on a successful path. Our hope is to not only learn more about designing websites in Joomla but also share knowledge about being a business owner as well. This is a private Facebook Group. You are welcome to register and join us.  

This will be a live streamed event where we will code along to accomplish a preset task.

This will not be a tutorial and will be led by an organiser, but the person may not be there to teach you.  An element of self learning will be required, and some helpful links may guide you.

My intention is NOT to tell you the answers but to force you to think for yourself so you practice problem solving on your journey.

This event will be hybrid, you can attend in person at Rutgers, College Avenue Campus in New Brunswick or virtual.

We will have 2 sections of this class.

Section one (9:00am - 12:00pm): We will focus on how to create a module override with various parameters and adjustments. (Lead speakers: Viviana & Daniel)

Section two (1:00pm - 4:00pm): We will take this module and add GSAP code to add interesting dynamic effects. (Lead speaker: Shirat Goldstein)

We will provide a base site to work with. Basic coding experience is helpful, but not required.

At a new location in the hart of the Netherlands, the JoomlaDays NL will take place in Utrecht. The venue is very close to the central station, making it easily accessable by public transport.

JoomlaDays NL consists of various sessions, workshops, and presentations led by experts from the Joomla community. The event covers topics ranging from technical depth for developers to practical tips for website administrators or marketing. Attendees can learn about new extensions, templates, security, and the latest versions of Joomla.

And as always, it is also the perfect place to catch up with other Joomla specialists!

The JoomlaDay™ DACH 2025 will take place on November 14th and 15th, 2025 in Freiburg - Bad Krozing, Germany.

The Kurhaus Bad Krozingen is centrally located in the border triangle of Germany, Switzerland and France and only 15 km from Freiburg.

The JoomlaDay 2025 is once again organized as a joint event of the Joomla Community in Germany (D), Austria (A), and Switzerland (CH).
