We’re proud to announce that Master of Malt has launched a dedicated B2B ecommerce experience for trade customers on BigCommerce. The new site allows trade buyers across the world to browse and purchase from a catalogue of over 15,500 premium spirits, liqueurs, and Champagnes. By combining out-of-the-box enterprise B2B capabilities with a MACH Alliance-aligned architecture, Master of Malt has achieved both rapid time-to-market and the flexibility to customise the user journey — including their checkout experience. To deliver this, Master of Malt replatformed from a heavily bespoke setup to a headless build using Catalyst, BigCommerce’s new solution for curated composability. Catalyst enables merchants to quickly launch and optimise modern storefronts without the burden of technical debt. The team partnered with BigCommerce’s services organisation — including solutions architects, technical account managers, implementation project managers and personalised training — alongside Patchworks Connector Builder to power the new storefront. The build also includes best-of-breed integrations such as Vercel, Algolia and Braintree. This launch demonstrates how BigCommerce’s flexible commerce platform and ecosystem of partners enable wholesale businesses to deliver first-class digital experiences at scale. After more than a decade, we’re saying goodbye to our Four Points office. The space where BigCommerce grew from a scrappy startup into a global public company. It’s where we grew from under 200 employees to over 1,300 strong, where our culture took root, and where the memories made helped shape who we are today.
